How long it take to get them to BR General’s ER? Maybe 200 yards away

It's a little further than that. The building right on the corner is just doctor's offices.

Pretty crazy to see thugs with such degree of planning to have a throw away car and getaway car ready

From what I understand, they spotted the "victim" going into the mall. They had time to plan and were waiting for him when he came out of the mall.

I’m confused.

One “party” shot up a car with 4 people in it and 2 of those people died, but the shooting party left the scene in another car bc their car had been shot up?

quote:

Police said the attackers left their own bullet-ridden car behind and were picked up in a separate getaway vehicle.

So the “party” being shot was returning fire?

I saw this once on millerville. A person got out of a car and shot up another car. I would have liked to say I intervened and did something to stop the shooter but I had my kid with me and my only thought was our lives were not worth this bullshite.

So. Idk what should happen when criminals get brave and law enforcement isn’t there. How do we stop this shite?

Some people have no regard for human life and I have no idea how you remedy that, or even react to it.

From my understanding the killer's car pulled up along side the victim, got out and shot it up with tons of rounds (perhaps full auto?). Then got picked up and sped off in a gateway car someone else was driving.

I thought #4 might be the saggy pants guy walking around. The upper part of his white t shirt appears to be blood soaked, unless it was from rendering aid.

Slow the video down.

Ok, that guy apparently was shot in his right hand too. You can see it good slowed down.

People like this are beyond saving. The only remedy is to lock them up forever or kill them.

This is bunch of 18 year olds with a BR public school education (if they ever attended school)

Their plan was probably rather simple:

1. Text to the homies "that n**ga at the mall right now, dawg"

2. "Arrite, we gunna roll his arse when he come out". "Y'all follow us in your car in case anything go wrong"

It’ll be interesting to see if that gun battle that erupted on Fairfield’s Ave is related to this massacre as retaliation.

I figure the survivors and some of their friends that weren't involved will be looking for these people. They almost certainly know who did it. But it'll probably take a little while for this to all go down.

Did you hack their phone? I could see this exact exchange occurring before the killing.

We'll read about a double homicide on Silverleaf in 5 weeks and not realize it was related.

Hey now, I have a friend who lives on Silverleaf. Don't put that voodoo on him.

Silverleaf doesn't have a good enough background for the Instagram/Twitter videos. They'll do it somewhere nicer. Please, give the videographer more credit than that.....

I'm gonna guess a duel in front of the giant clitoris statue on the levee downtown.

There are nice wealthy neighborhoods in BR but you are pretty much within a mile or so of a ghetto anywhere these days. And gun violence used to be mostly a NBR problem but it is happening in historically nice parts of town with far more frequency.

Congrats if you live in a million dollar home. There are still shootings and violence where you shop and places you frequent these days.

bullshite. Anyone who saw the decline of both Bon Marche and Cortana knew damn well that the Mall of Louisiana would have the same demise. It was an inevitable sad story on opening day.

Can you imagine, you turn right off of Flannery onto Old Hammond a little bit too close to a car coming straight, but not close enough for a wreck. Car coming just had to slow down a bit, you get to the next light and stop and Dude behind you hops out ready to pop a cap in you jist for that? That's where we're heading.

I grew up in Central off of Hooper Road so I know that area well. Cutting through Mickens, Lanier, Silverleaf etc used to be a regular occurrence growing up out there before the Thruway etc.
