If it makes you feel better they don't really give a shite and are just yelling so you dont fart around.
Amazing how someone put out there dictating haste actually moves the crowd along. Some airports like Ohare and Kennedy are particularly aggressive.

I always did this at the old airport I would just park there. New airport everyone is coming from upstairs anyway so it’s a good move.

It’s always been like that at every airport. They don’t want you rollin up with a trunk full of ammonium nitrate and parking.

These people are annoying but you can’t expect them to remember every car. If you left that area unattended it would be four wide parked cars all the way down and nobody would be able to move. It’s a pain in the arse but the traffic has to keep moving.
If people would learn to sit in the satellite parking lot until whoever they are picking up walks outside it would run a lot smoother. Instead you have morons circling for an hour all fighting over the same spots on the curb

Every busy airport I’ve been to won’t allow you to “park” for an unlimited amount of time before getting shooed. It’s normal. MSY does it and they’re “nazis”.

I’ve learned to appreciate them at many airports. Nothing worse than some dumbass clogging up those spots for 45 minutes because boo-boo and t-boy had to stop for a lucky dog after the flight.
