Why? I bought a 2012 Silverado six months later in 2013 and it was $15,000 cheaper because it had 13k miles.

MSRP for fully loaded 2019 Sierra Denali will be $70k

$15,000 less than sticker?

I am sure I will catch hell for this but there is a 90% chance my next truck is the Sierra Denali. Although I will hope to find one ~1 year old with less than 20k miles.
The AT4 model looks very nice with the factory lift and less chrome.

$15k cheaper than sticker maybe. You could have bought a new one for maybe $1000 more.

That's more than twice what my parents spent for their house in the 70s.

Negative. The price I paid for a Silverado 1500 LT Texas Edition and the price they wanted at the dealership for a new bare basic, single cab 1500 were the same.
They were having a hard time selling it because it was red. But it had leather, back up camera, sensors and everything except a sunroof.

How much extra money will the Baw Trim add to the bottom line? Spacers, lift, tires, the standard decals, etc.

I'm not going to say you're a liar, but that's not how it works almost anywhere in the south.

Do the Sierra dashboards still crack in the Louisiana sun?
FIL's truck dashboard cracked just under the inspection sticker

First I hear of this. After looking at it, I am not much into the "lifted" truck scene (considering I work in plants that is probably sacrilegious). But because I work in plants plus need a truck to tow a boat, carry tools on the weekends, etc.

This.
I could have searched and found a 1 year old F150 with 20k miles for $30k. I found a brand new one for $44.5k, got it down to $34.5K after rebates and incentives, and I got 20k more miles and 1 more year of warranty than I would have got with the used truck.

MSRP is laughable on GM vehicles these days. 70k means you really pay like 55k which is the same price as a maxed out tundra.
