No rebates, less warranty, already used, inflated cost, worse incentives compared to new. They end up costing almost the same as new.

WTF is the half tailgate for?

Id think with these shorter beds, when hauling say lumber or poles, the half tailgate drop would allow you to keep things in one area and tie them off easier.

Why do you say that? I am hoping, again this is the hope, that I can find one that someone like my dad would purchase just to say they own a truck then after a year want a car again so sell the truck.

I am in no urgent need for a new truck since mine is fully paid for and still runs just fine but it does have 115k miles so it's not like it will run forever.

I cannot believe they charge 70k with that early 2000's dashboard and instrument panel. Clunky and Embarrassing.

obviously you'd have to compare but generally speaking the cost of a less than 1 yr truck with 15k will be more than a few thousand less than new.

I've done the comparisons before. I don't find it to be worth the minimal (if any) saving over new.

Link to the $100 22" tires please. 20" Goodyear Eagle LSAs aren't that cheap.

buddy had a '16 denali and had shite tires, he looked the value of the tires up when he had it and they were shite tires.

the biggest kicker can be financing if you can get a less than 1 % financing new over 2.5-5% financing used.

If you're flipping vehicles every 2-5 yrs than yes, that will eat your arse away.

Keep a 55k vehicle for 10-12 years, then not so bad.
