Moving to New Orleans but living in the Warehouse District is like going to a steakhouse but ordering the fish.

Wut? That doesn’t make a bit of sense

He already has the property there.
There really isn’t anything wrong with the WHD. It’s not like he’s renting in Metairie or something.

There are four law schools in Louisiana, pumping out hundreds of freshly-minted lawyers each year, without any need or jobs for them. Yes, go back to Houston. But there are many more pleasant ways to make a living.

Depending on what part of Metairie I'd say that's preferable

There is nothing wrong with the warehouse district.

There’s some nice apartment buildings and it’s in walking district to a lot of bars/restaurants Red Eye, Lucy’s, Harrahs, Barcadia, Manning’s etc

That you're touting Lucy's and Barcadia as places to go only proves my point for me.

Dude said he’s single and in his twenties. Metairie would not fit that lifestyle

Lived in Austin for two years.. loved the music scene and the water but hated the liberal aspect and people for most part. I inherited the warehouse district condo, so don’t really have much choice in the matter. Hear it’s not a bad place to be. Living within walking distance to Harrah’s could get interesting though..

Let me guess, he needs to move to the Upper 9th ward and wear a “Defend Nola” shirt to get the authentic experience.

Yeah you better just keep your head down and stay in your lane. They will smell blood in the water and eat you alive.

Make sure the uptown gal you meet has parents that are members of comus.
