We have supported kids in college for 14 years (many of those years, two kids). Our youngest graduates next May, so there is light at the end of the financial tunnel. Already planning a big vacation!

We just moved our oldest daughter in this past week. Not too far, but far enough. 4 hours away. I had no idea it was going to be as hard as it was. Maybe since she is the oldest? Youngest daughter is a sophomore this year. It’s going to be different around here for sure.

Only way I’m letting them go to Bama for undergrad is if they pay for everything

Well, pretty close. Those Bammers offer generous scholarships to out-of-staters. PLUS, it's not dependent on the state politicians fighting every year on how much to cut TOPS.
