doesn't Rooms to Go try to hustle you into getting their "stain protection" service/additional fee? to the point where they wont even make the sale unless you opt into this BS charge?
I remember yellowfin on here years ago saying he'd rather assfrick a porcupine than give Ashley furniture another nickel.. so id avoid them.

This is the couch I bought.

I was weary having not sat on it. Its nice looking and will last a few years but the back is a little flimsy. Its not the most comfy couch but def not the most uncomfortable I have ever owned. All in all, I was happy with the purchase.

Kidding. Wayfare is good for random pieces, but stay clear of anything with drawers or that will carry a load.
On craigslist, search for name brands.
Stay away from anything amazon branded. Their furniture has serious QC problems.
Furniture purchases are tough. No one wants to be surrounded by shitty stuff, but for certain times in life spending the money for quality doesn't make sense.

How old are you? If you have parents with old furniture, talk to your mom. Give her idea that they need newer furniture. She will tell your dad she needs new furniture. You get the old stuff (couches, coffee tables, etc.)

I bought some shelves last week through amazon. Better looking than anything I could find locally in that price range. But the boxes were destroyed when they got to my house. Somehow the only marks on the pieces aren't visible. But it easily could have been destroyed. Good thing it's so easy to return with Amazon prime.

Sprintz during a tent sale.
We got some really nice furniture (same brand in Crate and Barrell) for like 75% off.
Gotta time in right though and get there early.
