That seems like a prime opportunity for easy money

It’s in a restricted area within a National Monument. Heck, even Army Corps of Engineers are having issues accessing the lake.

something currently going on with St Helens? I can see it on a clear day from where I live and don't feel like dealing with an eruption

Nothing is really happening but the volcano is growing. Has been for years.

That little ole 7k mountain has more prominence than a lot of 14ers.

I just don't understand why you wouldn't let someone come in to clean up something like that.

It's nature. Why does it need to be cleaned up?

I’m more impressed by the destruction to Spirit Lake. That log raft and how it came to be is amazing.

Spirit Lake log raft.

When I lived in Seattle the airline routes often took over/near the mountain. You can see how the north side of the mountain was essentailly blown away..

Mount St. Helens is a volcano in Washington state that erupted 1980. Huge event when it happened, and isn't it awesome how nature repairs itself?
