And to everyone who says that 0.985 is pretty much the same as 1.00 in g/cm3 that's wrong.

That difference in density gives us our oceanic crust floating in our mantle.

Double that difference and that's why ice floats in water.

Triple that difference and you have the continental crust floating in the mantle.

Average - important word here.

also density of PURE water is 1g/cm3 at 32F
at 70F it's .977, look at that, it's less than an average human, whatever we are calling an average human.

The fatter you are, the less dense you are.
More muscle mass means your body is more dense than the average human.

Lot of factors go into this.

So..........some people float, some people don't, and depending on the salinity and the temperature of the water, that changes who floats and who doesn't.

But the guy didn't know that humans were less dense than a rain drop.

I do think we are giving too much credit to float here. How about equally buoyant...doesn't sink doesn't float.

Motion sensors use passive infrared detectors. CT scans can detect brain density, or lack thereof.

All motion activated lights on the market came from an assembly plant in the future. They were pre-programmed with the exact times that you would be walking by. That's how they know when to turn on.

it also depends on the outside temp

the hotter it is, the less sensitive the sensor is

the sensor needs a contrast
