My sister wants pot roast, corn and okra. So that’s what I’m cooking. Her husband is completely useless so I took my niece to get her first last weekend. Also had flowers delivered to her office on Thursday.

My mom wants nothing to do with me. Gald I sent flowers to the pleasant woman who created me.

What’s the story on that?

Stuffed from a family style Italian lunch. Now headed to my brothers pool.

BB, she was 19, I was a total mistake, which I have been reminded of, then she fips the script and reminds me how I turned her life around, in a good way, so she can attempt to guilt trip me. I am over mom right now.

Liz, I’m so sorry. I don’t have a great relationship with my mom because I had a bit of a puritanical upbringing, and I never quite forgave them for tossing me into the big, bad world completely naive. However, we still speak every weekend or so. I can’t imagine.

Water for lunch. Waiting for popcorn at the movies later.

my mother was 19 as well...I was a honeymoon baby...know how you feel in a lot of ways...although to my mother's everlasting credit, she did come through for me at three major points in my life...

AT & Butch family is difficult. I love mom but if I met her on the street, I would never connect to her. She cannot deal with unpleasant things and has let me down during very pivotal moments. Glad yours was there for you butchy.

AT, enjoy the movie, you driving?
