Maybe it should be given higher regard and we could help turn around the rise single parent families and the "where's his father" type comments.

Yes, we should all go out of our way to celebrate sluts who target crappy douchebag men over and over instead of trying to find a decent man who understand responsibility. Of course widows are the minority in the single motherhood community. As far as walking pregnancy cases, you reap what you sew.

Maybe we should penalize people for having kids when they can't afford them, rather than rewarding them with tax benefits and giving them an excuse to feel entitled.

you could try and do both (although if they can't afford their kids in the first place I'm not sure what penalizing them would achieve)

Hell, just listen to the politicians give their speeches. They mention single moms in the same sentences as soldiers, teachers, firefighters, and cops. The single mom has achieved revered status in this modern American culture. It sucks for the widows and battered wives who now have to get grouped into the same category as a woman with 4 kids from 4 dads who expects society to have to fix the problem she made for herself.

That's what you get for giving it up to the first bum you see.

Maybe she shouldn't have decided to adopt a child while she was single. But then she wouldn't something to complain about.

What the hell is this woman's point. "don't feel sorry for me or celebrate me even though being a mother is hard and I'm increasingly miserable". Ok I won't I guess.

Yeah this part made her particularly unsympathetic. "I can't lift a laptop much less a baby". Well why the frick did you adopt a baby?

For single moms, the onus to celebrate Mother’s Day is on us.

So get married bitch.

How about this revolutionary thought?

Wait to have sex until you are married.

Wait to have a baby until you are married.

Stay married.

Raise a family with your husband.

Enjoy Mother's Day - and a lot of other things too.

Not really the best person to be saying single moms have it hard.

Show me a widow with children and I'll be a lot more sympathetic.
