I'd eliminate the risk, take your lumps, and buy her a BGE for mothers day.

the Alta HR from the Luxe Collection would be nice. The Roomba and Fitbit together should get you the BGE on your day.
This is what I was thinking too

did she honor March 14th?
She did. Second year in a row

Card, and handmade gift from your child, her Grandchild? painting, etc, depending upon how far apart yall live......meals are ridiculous on M-Day, but you can always cook for her if close by?
the point is just never forget MOMS DAY

Take the kids somewhere for the day. Let her have time to read or take a nap.
Later, make her a nice meal and do the dishes.

Do people actually get their wives mother day gifts? What kind of shite is that? She's not your mother, she's your wife. Unless you live in Alabama, then it's possible she could be both.
I would have the kids pick something out, make or write cards, and you orchestrate the giving of the gifts.
I reckon a lot of people underestimate the thought of a heartfelt and meaningful gift over an expensive one. And to cover my bases, I am not an ot poor.

For gods sake man, she's the mother of your children. You think it's that easy to plop out a twat demon after 9 months.
Don't be a chintz, man up and get her a damn Mother's Day gift.

I always get her something too. Yes, the boys make cards or something (last year the 7yr old made an airplane out of used 2x4 scraps laying around the shop). But since she is the mother of my sons I like to get her something to show my appreciation also.
