What do y’all think is the most “southern” place in Louisiana? Southern such as traditional old south southern. Think of southern accents and traditions. I say Florida Parishes specifically upper FL parishes bordering MS. West Monroe would be second for me.

Like romanticized south or actual trashy south?

I’d say the Florida Parishes as well.

I guess which places have the thickest southern accent and have similarities to other Southeastern states such as Georgia Alabama and Tennessee

Nowhere is South LA. They aren’t even Americans, much less Southern. Just a big hodgepodge of disgusting ill-bred mutants.

The most redneck places in Mississippi are in the "Golden Triangle" region. The most romanticized southern places in MS are Oxford and Natchez.
The most romanticized southern place I've been to in Louisiana is the Houma House.

Pretty close. Somewhere in the Delta. Although Natchitoches is pretty old south too.

Florida Parishes covers both pretty well.

Agree, however, I'd have to lean more towards a town on the River
