I think it’s the fact that they allow openly gay kids and troop leaders and have moved towards just calling themselves “scouts” to allow girls to join as well.
What I don’t understand is why the OP seems so upset about what the Mormons are doing. It’s not like they’re protesting, bullying or trying to prevent his new BSA agenda, they’re simply deciding they don’t want any part of it.

I'm not at all upset. It is what it is. The Mormons want a program that is more religious based. I'd much rather they form their own youth program, than try to change Scouts into being a Mormon organization.
