re: More pay or more paid time off?

Depends where you're at with pay and PTO.
I work from home full-time and don't have traditional PTO, I have flex time. Basically, I can take off whenever I want but need to make sure I'm taking care of my responsibilities or have arranged for someone else to take care of them in my stead. In my situation, gimme the damn MONEY!
That said, if at my current salary I only had 3-4 weeks off a year, I'm definitely going for more PTO. Personal time, travel, brain breaks, etc...that shite is important to me.

More money to increase household cash flow, then reinvest that shiz and retire early. Then you’ll have all the “time off” you could ask for.

Depends on the situation, I took a lateral move for 5k less but got 2 more weeks of vacation(5 total) to make up the difference.
I would have taken the job anyway because I was not in a good situation.

With my current job I accumulate 6 hours paid leave every two weeks. I can build up to 240 hours of paid leave which carries over to the next year. Any hours over the 240 are use or lose so I have to take them or they will be forfeited. With my old job it was a strict two weeks paid a year and it sucked. The paid leave is more valuable in my oppinion. My old job paid more but I never got to enjoy the extra money anyways.

Weve got shite time off, but I'll take more pay.
Cant go anywhere if you cant pay for it.

This.
For most of my career my choice would be more pay.
The answer to this largely depends on age - when I was young I'd take the money. Now I'd rather have more vacation time.

Only get 15 days of PTO a year, but with comp time I average about 45 days off per year. Not too shabby

Paid Vacation and it's not even close. What's the point of making more money if you're too busy working M-F to enjoy it.

few yrs back i turned down a job that offered 20k more than i made at the time. Said they only gave 2 weeks off for vacation a year. Where I worked i had 6 weeks off plus accumulated 2personal days a month that rolled over a year. I was sitting on 2 months vacation and accumulating every month. My time off is o of more value to me than money

Give me the vacation days. I love traveling and not working

I have 30 days of PTO. It's actually kind of difficult to use it all because my wife only gets 15.

As long as our company is profitable and we have no major issues, the owners DGAF how much time I take off. So no I wouldn't take less money for more time off.

What does replacing toilet wax rings and unclogging gutters pay these days?
