No kidding! Since when is a running a/c disturbing your neighbors?
Maybe the homes need better insulation.

Zero lot-line and most homes keep their windows open majority of the time. So I can see how some AC units could be heard

Although still the thought of making a fuse about a neighbor's AC noise is insane.

I'm tired of smelling the pot smoke coming from my neighbors. I don't care if it's legal, the shite still stinks and is trashy. I can sometimes smell it while in my bed upstairs with the windows open.

Is it an external AC unit?

That’s not an uncommon regulation because those things are loud

If you live in the Bay Area, I kinda get the AC thing. You’ll only “need” it after 10pm like 3 days a year.

Nobody is gonna tell me when I can run my fricking air conditioner unless they’re paying my utility bill.

Don't like it, don't live there. Pretty simple. People who bitch about their HOAs don't deserve any sympathy

Then don’t agree to that in a contract.

The uproar over HOAs on this board is hysterical. They’re just contracts.

As me how I know

The Bay Area is great for heroin addicts. It makes sense OP would move there.
