The Donaldson woman was in her early 50s. She was driving over 90mph, not over 90 y/o.
But to your point, I agree. I'm just happy my mother didn't kill someone when she destroyed her car. It was only a matter of time, even though we at least got her to stop driving at night or in the rain. She's still pissed she can't drive anymore. She can barely walk, but she wants to drive...
There have 3 traffic fatalities in St Tammany in the last few weeks that all involved drivers over 80 years old. One was a crossover head on collision on Hwy 25 and another ran off of Lee Rd and hit a tree. Both may have been medical situations.

I agree it was a moving eulogy and he is a man of strong faith, I can understand him holding no ill will towards the family of the other driver. They also lost someone and as he said they didn't wake up hoping to kill his wife. If it was a driver that was drunk/high and lived then I think I would hold a grudge against that person.
