LOL no
northeast LA is home to some of the poorest, most poverty stricken areas in the country

Unless of course you aren't in that group.
You are referring to poor black people that live on the farm.
It's prettier terrain, better hunting, fishing and land values are higher.
Very low crime.

Ruston > Shreveport > Monroe

Monroe is closer to the delta. Which is the greatest part of the state of LA. It all comes down to land, really. Clueless coonasses sit in their fetid shite swamps and foolishly think they are relevant in anything outside of getting shite hammered and being the butt of jokes. Everyone West of Monroe is just poor red dirt trash stumbling thru life in a pine treed haze. Monroe still has a semblance of old south charm, although it's almost negated by the low life blacks to the south and the bleed over from the pine tree meth people of the west. But there is charm there. Shrevport is billboards and casinos and East Texas folk. Way more shite to do in Shreveport. It's the 2nd funniest town in the star besides NOLA, not counting BR when LSU is playing athletics. But class? Monroe in a land slide.

I've lived in New Orleans, Shreveport, Ruston and Natchitoches.
NOLA #1. S'port and Nat. tie for 2nd. Ruston sucks.

The answer is Heflin,
But seriously bomb Ruston, then salt the soil, then bomb it again.

I'm an NSU alum and there is real hate there but Ruston has come a long way but people from that parish can be...special.

I'll take Monroe (preferably West Monroe) over Shreveport any day.
