Monroe man accused of molesting a 4-year-old

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - A Monroe man is charged with molestation of a juvenile or person with a physical or mental disability.

The Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office arrested Jacinto White Thursday, March 19th, on an arrest warrant from an incident back in August of 2019.

The warrant says the 4-year-old victim's mother went to the store and left her children in the care of White, who she said was a family friend.

According to records, when the mother returned, she says the safety lock was on the door. When asked why White took so long to open the door, he did not respond.

Once inside the residence, the mother said she saw the 4-year-old victim running back to the bedroom. When the mother asked the 4-year-old why they weren't in bed, records show the victim says White molested them.

Two other toddlers were present during the incident.
