There's the gypsy rose, I had s very unattractive woman grope me and when she saw how turned off I was; she thought I was gay.

Foxhole lounge, Enoch's and top gun were good

I was there last week!! Went and saw Logan at the theater West of the river, it was like time travel going to a movie theater from the nineties. Pretty cheap though.

There's no Uber there, kinda makes it hard to check out the local bars cause I'm responsible and a pussy.

Monroe is heaven for hunters and fishermen. some of the best hunting is around monroe. It does suck for people visiting though, unless you have friends up here.

West Monroe Hampton Inn. Hooters for basketball. You can go to cheesy places like Hooters when you're out of town.

Not the best place in the world and not the worst. I've lived in Alex and Monroe and Monroe's better. I've also lived in OKC and NO and those are much better.

I would say go to the airport bar for strong drinks, but I'm guessing their business took a hit after 9/11.

The cluster frick of MacArthur/Service Road alone puts Alexandria last. Mall area is a traffic design nightmare.

I think he's talking about Bangkok Soice (think that's the name) in West Monroe. There's a great Indian restaurant called A Taste of India in Monroe.

I drove back and forth everyday from Bossier City to Monroe when I dated a girl that lived there. Driving there was the worst and leaving was the best.

Flying Tiger Brewery - go there.

Poked my head in there one night a couple months ago when I was in town. Cool place. Tried 2 of their brews. Good stuff. And lots of cool Chenault memorabilia.

Cotton is also a really good restaurant and I saw there's a new one over there on the river. Not sure about the nightlife these days, but I'm sure there's a few decent places. Monroe may be a boring place to live, but there's enough things to get you through a couple days.

SQ's is pretty good (old River and Rail) and Roma Cafe on Antique Alley in West Monroe is really good.
