Chief Holmes did make one solid point, have all these desk jockeys come out to the community meetings.

How about interstate maintenance, FDIC insurance, the FAA, or the USDA? The list goes on and on. I am no fan of big government but you should refrain from making ridiculous statements.

So they are expected to serve only folks that come to the community meetings?

You would think these crooks would pick another place to rob. You know, instead of picking Cotton.

Gotta love the News Star quoting posters from Facebook. lolz.

Please let John Georges hurry up and expand The Advocate to a statewide paper and run Gannett out of town.

I knew this would be the chef before I even opened the article. He's probably one of the most genuine people I have ever met.

why is that a solid point.

Involvement? I would think tracking down the thief, IDing your property, and reporting AGAIN to the police would be all the involvement needed from a citizen.

So many people love to bitch (like we do) from behind their computer or phone screen. Go out to the community meetings and express your opinion face to face with the city leaders.

My point was beyond the mentioned case.

Yes, the MPD, based on Chef Bahr's story has dropped the ball. Not sure what probable cause the MPD needs to make an arrest, but I would assume what Chef Bahr provided is sufficient.
