I started watching WWE right after The Shield broke up... I've always like Reigns and never really understood all the boos he gets. My understanding is because he was being "pushed" as the new face and fans don't like that.
Why is Finn Balor being cheered if he is pushed to a Championship match in his first show?? Shouldn't the crowd be booing him because he hasn't "earned" it... the same as Reigns??
For the record I think Balor is freaking awesome... I've been watching him on NXT for the last year on WWE Network.

Roman is the kinda guy that Vince wants. Big and muscular and from a wrestling family. Also Finn put in his time in Japan and Mexico and has been in NXT for over a year. That's the mark belief anyway that Roman looks the part and Finn doesn't but has earned his spot.
For the record I like Roman. I think he works really well with other guys and Finn looking as good to the uneducated fan is because he beat Roman.
