My awesome ex2 decided to deposit both support checks on the same day this month so she could have extra money at the beach. One was dated on 15th and other 31st. Been this way for years since I let her convince me that chase quick pay was too slow(that is true). Anyhoots. Found out banks don't have obligation to honor the post date unless you tell them ahead of time "don't let check 123 clear until 7/31". Nice lesson. New policy in place on my end for sure. frick bitches. Wear rubbers.

I know. I went to my fave branch and talked to a teller I know pretty good after all these years. Used to be they wouldn't cash it. Payroll checks, personal, etc. They changed their policy few years ago. All they care about now is the >180 day old thingy. Ah well. Pizza money covered the difference. And I'll use credit card for some fun this week off with churrens.
