Moisture Buildup in Dryer

My wife (sorry, no pics) tells me this morning the lint in the trap is wet. I open the dryer door and find condensation built up on the inside of the door. I dealt with the same bullshite last year toward the end of summer and thought I’d gotten it fixed, but apparently not.
I checked the duct for clogging, there’s none. I checked the inside of the machine, very little lint there either. There is about a 14” straight run out the exterior wall, which I just changed to rigid duct. The old flap vent was sticking and I replaced it with the one pictured below.
Also, the laundry room is relatively small, but has its own A/C register, which is probably adding to the problem (I’ve had the vent closed off completely since last summer but some cool air still gets through). Anyone deal with a similar issue? Any advice short of burning down the house and rebuilding?

Dry your clothes longer.

Stop putting your wet clothes in the dryer.

I don’t know how AC in your laundry room would cause moisture to stay in your dryer.
When the dryer is running, can you feel warm air coming out of the vent?

Dryer not getting hot enough?

If your dryer is getting hot, it is an airflow issue. You can build up a lot of lint and other debris inside the dryer.
You should unplug it, take it apart enough to shop vac everything.
Also, fabric softener sheets can slowly clog up the lint filter screen and you can hardly see it. Wash it with soap and water to make sure the water passes through it easily.

Warm, moist air will tend to draw to a cool, dry area. My current guess is that’s what’s happening: the warm air migrates into the closed dryer, is trapped, hits the cool surface of the door, and condenses. Which would mean the new dryer vent isn’t doing its job.

Yes same issue. Fabric sheets leave a nasty build up on the vent screens. Soak it in bleach and water rinse it well. I never had that issue again. It’s crazy but it looks like nothings there but if you run it under plan water you will see the water not running through the screen.

Have already done this; there wasn’t really any accumulation of lint to speak of...
The dryer is having no issues getting hot or drying clothes quickly. It’s pushing out plenty enough hot air to open the shuttle cap on the exterior vent.

Do you close the door to your laundry room when it runs?

Most of the time, yes.

Check the outside vent to, take a hanger and pull any lint out of there as well. Had the same issue and that fixed it for me

Exhaust vent is clogged

Make sure the exhaust hose is not pinched.
