Moissanite is double refractive like Sapphire. Thus it is actually more brilliant than diamond. A good jeweler can instantly identify moissanite under a loupe due to this characteristic, but in my opinion it's the most beautiful stone there is. My wife has worn the 2 carat moissanite solitaire I gave her for 10 years now. Compliment after compliment, and nary a single person has asked what kind of stone it is. I paid all of $800 in 2010.

I might be in the minority but I prefer the white zircon as a diamond substitute. Also a white sapphire is nice.

The quality of the cut is mich more important than difference in man made vs natural stone.

Yeah I just couldn’t pull the trigger on a man made diamond. I would have just went smaller with the natural diamond if money would have been an issue

diamonds are a scam, just marketing exploiting women's emotions and your dollars!
All the above mentioned alternatives are almost identical to diamonds, no one will ever no the difference (not that it matters).

Diamonds are just allotropes of Carbon in the diamond cubic structure.
Synthetic are no different from natural in this regard.
Natural diamonds will have imperfections.
Literally people pay a premium for natural diamonds with imperfections. Basically like paying for for jeans with holes in them.
