You honestly don't get it? You really don't understand how by her spelling all this out on her blog she is for all intents and purposes broadcasting to the world what she's saying? Do you not understand how the internet works?

She's not posting her blog using some random username and avatar. She's got her name,face, and thoughts right there on her blog for all the world to see. Anyone who comes by her blog can and will see what she's writing. Thus, like I said, anything she posts here is basically the same thing as standing on a street corner and yelling it out for everyone to hear.

Exactly Darth. This is about intentions. Though verlander wants to turn this into a "nobody is forcing you to read it" argument, when that has nothing to do with being an attention whore. Your analogy is valid.

Yes, I understand all of that... very well.

That doesn't equate to standing on a street corner yelling it out for everyone to hear. There's a difference between posting it online for people to find it and read it and yelling at any random person that walks by.

And anyone who comes by her blog can also click away from it whenever they choose. That's the difference.

ETA: I actually think she's a bigger attention whore than some random yelling at strangers on the street. They know no one gives a shite what they have to say. Well, unless they are crazy, but if they are crazy they aren't thinking about the attention anyway.
