To be fair, Shane is like 6'3" 240. He's not been training for decades like the others but he looks to be in shape and has been wrestling on and off his entire life. Betting he can hold his own in the ring and put on a show.
Surprised the fight is with Taker though. He will need someone who can carry the match a little and at his age I'm not sure Taker can.

I didn't mean that the match wouldn't be entertaining, just that it's extreme to ask ppl to suspend disbelief to the level of Shane competing with Taker

Shane will best taker. No reason to bring him back just to lose. From the looks so far at the matches. I don't see any that stand out. They are desperate for creating something.
