The one thing WWE did get wrong with all this is how the fans would react. I think this is Cody trying to put a garden hose on a wild fire.

Cody vs. Roman and Seth vs. CM Punk was the plan until Punk got hurt. Honestly, that’s for the best. Punk absolutely did not deserve the WM event. This injury is a blessing in disguise for Punk and WWE.
Rhodes beats Rollins and Priest either cashes in right after or on the RAW after Mania. Or hell he pulls Seth’s move on him and cashes in during the match.
The Rock vs. Roman is the spectacle match. If you have the chance to do it, you do it. Cody can have the title at SummerSlam.
Rest of the card will have (or most likely have) these matches:
Bayley vs. Iyo
Becky vs. Rhea
Jey vs. Jimmy
Bron vs. Gunther
Logan Paul vs. LA Knight
Sami vs. Drew
Jade vs. Nia
Kabuki Warriors will definitely have a match, no idea who against but Carter and Chance are the only current team with any momentum.
I would love for them to have Priest and Balor defend each of the tag team titles on each night. DIY should absolutely take the RAW titles.
We’ll probably get Bobby vs. Karrion Kross as well.
Shinsuke absolutely needs a match. Maybe Okada? Maybe help build up Gable again?
Orton vs. Styles should happen.
Bianca needs a match at WM. Tiffany maybe?
Waller and Theory vs. KO & partner feels inevitable, but no idea who the partner would be. Carmelo would have been a great choice before last night. Maybe Andrade since he has some history with Theory.

That interaction with Rhodes was the best thing Rock has done in WWE in a long long time……he will be involved heavily in WM as well maybe a 3 way dance!!!
ETA After watching the whole clip it’s looking like Reigns/Rock v Rhodes/Rollins maybe in Australia….im here for it….so much substance and story there.

I don't think Seth's knee will be healed by Australia
But you are right that whole thing was fricking awesome and I still have no idea where it's going. A tag like that makes a lot of sense but I don't see them doing it at mania and Seth won't be ready for EC so I just don't know when they'll do it
