Pension fund is a separate issue entirely . This is about raises that were mandated by state law that the city failed to give the firefighters. The firefighters won this court case at every level including a 7-0 victory in the state supreme court. At least 110 firefighters who were owed back pay have already died. That is how long this has been going on.
