Why is son in quotes?

He didn't have enough characters left to fit "Ham Planet" in the subject line.

People like asurob think that if you outlaw guns criminals somehow will not be able to obtain them.

So you think the solution here would have been for the 17 year old to have a gun as well? In self-defense?

How about neither of them have guns? That way there isn't a shoot'em up or a shoot out.

Hell no. My point apparently soared over your head.

How about we try to eliminate the idiots in society instead?

In her defense, from what I can tell, she didn't even pull the gun out until the guy in red made threats of violence against her son.

A statement that everyone could agree on with no realism behind it and thus no solution.

You'd make a fine politician.

She should've shot them. This story would be better if there was murder involved.

I'd run on a platform of sterilization of people with a below average IQ.

Sure deride her as trashy (seems as though she is)

She did nothing wrong here though.

This guy is truly a scholar. He is telling the person with a gun that she needs to back up. Moron

This. I would have shot that mother-fricker on general principle.

What if they clicked him on the head with something or beat him badly enough to cause internal bleeding or a brain hemorrhage? They said they were going to beat his arse, even with them there, they weren't backing down with a gun pointed at them

She did nothing wrong as far as I'm concerned

I was bullied a lot growing up( I still get bullied to be honest) but I always figured if I told my parents the bullying would be worse. So I just sucked it up and allowed people to torture me everyday. I never feared for my life or anything but it was embarrassing to say the least.

Yes she did. A gun wasn't called for. She and her husband are there as adults, they can simply pull their child away and drive off.

Never point a gun at somebody unless you intend to use it.

Missouri doesn't require that you attempt to flee.
