The #BlackOnCampus tweets are absolutely terrible.

All of this shite is their own perception
Some were brought up to perceive the world that way. Some (like my friend) learned that mentality in college as they associate with a new group of people.
Obviously not everyone is filled with hate, anger, or paranoia like that....and not all of the people who are angry and a little paranoid are willing to air so much of it in public.
In reality, we saw one Student Body president (which almost certainly makes him an attention-whore if nothing else) come up with complete lies about the KKK violently infiltrating campus to add to the hysteria and command attention. We saw an alarming number of tweets from a few people with similar personalities last night claiming that they saw some pretty crazy things that were highly unlikely at best and most likely fabrications.
What's most alarming to me is how many people were so quick to believe everything they heard about white people on campus and how fast these little anecdotes come out about how mean spirited white people are or how much society drags them down, etc. like your "screenwriter" example. Now we have a "blacksoncampus" hashtag where black students can post about every little thing about white people that they hate and feed off of the anecdotes of other angry, distrustful people with a similar world view.
These kids are at U of Missouri, they are young, and they are around a lot of people with similar interests. This should be the time of their lives.....but they are laser focused on how horrible it is being one of only a handful of blacks in a particular class or having to watch a news program with a white anchor or having a white professor. Sounds like a miserable existence to perceive hate and unfairness where it's likely that none really exists.
I cannot help but think that the highly irresponsible media reports following Ferguson last year (which is not far) has convinced them that not only are white people out to get blacks, but that the system is rigged against them. The media pumped the airways full of bullshite and then pointed the cameras to the riot after a grand jury predictably decided not to charge officer Wilson. I think that "prime and detonate" strategy that journalists have used to chase ratings (and the fear and race bating strategy that politicians orchestrated) is a big part of why this hysteria and outrage over this hoax spread so rapidly at that particular campus.
I don't think it would easily catch on to that extent at other schools, but I don't think this "woe is me" bullshite will be going away any time soon....especially with an approaching national election and bunch of shite-stirring politicians and journalists looking for an "incident" so they can generate outrage and fear.
Just my $0.02.

It's an echo chamber of misery, victim paranoia, and hate. It will be a bat signal for young people who dislike whites and feel that they've been wronged. Don't expect it to go away anytime soon.
It's perpetuating fear, anger, and a victim mentality that will be useful to politicians in increasing voter turnout among blacks and young progressives. It's a critical piece of political infrastructure now.

I personally like the one about not answering questions for fear of looking stupid if wrong. That's a black thing apparently.

Yep, the media has to stir up something to try and drive black voter turnout.

If they feel that mistreated at LSU, why stay? GTFO to Southern.
Or stay and STFU.

Yep and just like BLM it was a started with unsubstantiated rumors and lies. The way the DNC uses these people is sad. They don't even know it. They just keep believing the lies because of TWITTER. fricking twitter.

I want to start a "DisabledInAmerica hashtag and just post things like
"Got told that if I run I might be able to catch my boss before he leaves. As if my disability allows me to run #DisabledInAmerica"
Just to see if I can start a ridiculous movement and then when it blows up come out and call everyone who latched on an insufferable jackass who need to stop being offended by every little thing someone says.

That's what's so terribly disturbing about the whole thing. None of it has any basis in objectivity.

And the same BLM professional protesters are now running the show at Missouri

You would need a good 500 faux Twitter accounts to get this rolling in a pseudo legitimate way but I really like where you are going with that train of thought. LOL
