Ahhh, man you got my hopes up!
We've been tracking that for a while, hopefully she steps down/gets fired.
The other greek life president was placed on admin leave pending investigation. That's a plus!

I can only speak for myself, but its hard for me to speak on someone else's experiences or say they are "pics or not legit" if I haven't experienced them. I hope their experiences arent true, because if they are, I am distraught that that can happen in 2015. A college campus is the last place people should feel unsafe.
They are making demands that are excessive for the crime. They allegedly had a poopswastika and two incidences of the "n" word and the outcry is not measured. The administration will never stop people from saying dumb things. They did exactly what they were suppose to. They kicked someone off campus for using the "n" word and the other incident was off campus people. The poopswastika is being questioned as illegitimate and made up.
It's a faux outrage.

The entire thing looks to be a sham. And if you're going to make some very serious accusations, you'd damn well better have some substantive evidence other than that your feelings have been hurt. That's grade school shite.

A shite swastika.
Head being yelled at by a truck full of people more than likely
Racial Cult in speakers square
Big Blue Truck chasing poor "Hoodgirl"
Being in touch with the National Guard as incidents unfold
Wanting equality
Wanting free speech
Being good people in general
Finally, no, you can totally have that last piece of "insert barn animal that is often eaten fried" (too vague to be racist, show mercy)

The walkout spreads...
Ithaca college and Cornell students walk out of class

solidarity walkout" organized earlier this week by a group calling itself "People of Color at Ithaca College," or POC at IC, drew hundreds of IC students out of their classes on Wednesday afternoon, as well as dozens of supporters from Cornell.
?Students staging a "die-in" by sitting on walkways on the Ithaca College campus.IC's Academic Quad was packed with students, with campus publication The Ithacan estimating the crowd growing from about 400 at first to around 1,000 protesters and bystanders. Students took turns speaking, held a period of silence in solidarity with other campuses, chanted, and have largely dispersed to return to classes "and cause a disruption by informing other people about the situation," according to The Ithacan.

Students and faculty are increasingly calling for IC's President, Tom Rochon, to resign, saying he has failed to address the college's "problems of institutionalized racism, sexism, and classism," according to an open letter distributed during the recent family weekend.

I saw that, and that was a friggin shame. The student body president apologized for his lack of foresight.
We need to remember that these are 20-21 year old kids.
But some crazy student threaten to shoot up the school and the black students. In 2015, with our current climate of racial tensions and mass shootings, I think its ignorant to lessen the fears of people. Its a sad state of affairs, but threats like that have to be taken seriously. Just like the clock kid. He needed to be apprehended.

What "fits" the crime then? We're talking about a dicy and complicated racial history, especially in that border state, that we really havent ever addressed properly.
I wish I could feel their fear, but I cant. I dont have their experiences. For me, that makes it hard to extrapolate their experiences as "faux"

Not a student, he was a stupid kid located 2 hours away that didn't have the means to execute an attack because he had no weapons. He more than likely thought he was being funny and the dipshit has completely legitimized all these fricks by doing that.
That's the only headline you see, you see nothing about the race baiting, the lies being spread, you sure do see the campus shooting threat though on all these media sites.
White people may not all be racist, but we sure are stupid as frick.

This was the student body president that completely made up a hoax about the KKK being on campus and how he had to be escorted off campus by the police for his own safety. None of it was true, and he didn't even correct it until Mizzou's campus alert system told him to stop telling lies and spreading rumors.
In an environment like the one he created at Mizzou, that's worse than yelling fire in a crowded theater. He knew exactly what he was doing, and was outed as a complete liar.
This is also the same student that demanded Wolfe's resignation because he didn't respond fast enough to an alleged incident in which a group of white people yelled racial slurs at him.
Again, this whole ordeal was started by that student. He got administration and faculty fired, then he continued with incredibly dangerous lies on social media with the intent of creating hysteria.

Gotcha. And I agree to an extent. But can we nip it before its too late, or do we need to have the evidence such as the FBI arresting 3 white guys plotting a race war for us to substantiate people's fears?
I'm a 40, and thankful that a few of my best friends from childhood (to this day) were black guys. Hearing their experiences from being in all-white environments and schools opened my eyes and ears to things I couldnt experience through my person. Im the godfather to one of their childs, so maybe I am biased, but I'd be damned if my god son would feel the fear and unwelcomeness that these students are feelings. They are too similar to the stories my buddy told me about.

There was no crime. They feel they have a right not to be offended, and are doing everything g they can to enforce that right, by leveraging the student body into believing total fallacies.
There's a reason the Mizzou police is asking anyone that sees or witnesses " hateful or hurtful speech" to notify them and identify them. Welcome to the fascist America, where it's illegal to be offended.

Good job, Mizzou.
First, the school is stripped of leaders, and now total fricking chaos.

MU faculty call for dismissal of Click and Basler
Faculty pushing to oust Click
Brian Brooks, a journalism professor at The University of Missouri said he is upset with how the university has handled the situation.
"I saw a case of assault and battery against a student and here we are two days later and I haven't heard of the university police doing anything that the whole world saw by a videotape. What we have, once again, is the university dragging its feet on responding to a misbehavior by somebody on campus," Brooks said.
Brooks himself recruited the photographer, Tim Tai, to the Missouri School of Journalism and said he is one of the best students on campus.
Brooks said he waited two days to speak on the matter, saying that was plenty of time for the university to react. He said it is unconscionable that nothing has been done.
