Pretty much, any business can reopen now as long as they do curbside, delivery, and take social distancing measures. Lockdown goes until April 27.

FYI - Every business is essential to somebody

Dude, you ain't even lying. We have to go when we're allowed to get our kids things from the dorm. I fully plan to get my haircut if I can while we're there. I'll stay in a hotel an extra night to wait for an appointment if I have to!

Jackson mayor extends coronavirus shelter-in-place order for two weeks
Clarion Ledger Published 8:26 a.m. CT April 17, 2020

Jackson Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba has extended by two weeks a citywide stay-at-home-order.

The order will be in effect until April 30.

All essential businesses and services, such as health care facilities and grocery stores, can remain open under the order. All nonessential businesses have been ordered to close. They include all public amusement and recreation, and personal care and grooming businesses.
