Bad news is you no longer have a mini fridge. Good news is you have a really interesting lamp that will be a conversation piece.

Just think of the immaculate troll you could have provided us by concocting a story of having a repairman come out to address problems on your 60 dollar mini fridge
what a wasted opportunity
what a wasted opportunity

Unplug it for a few hours and let it defrost. I have to do that about once a year with mine.

Try replacing the thermostat- like $3 by mail. If that doesn't work, buy a new one.

Not sure what kind you have but I had a similar issue. Mine is outside in my outdoor kitchen. I did some google searches and figured out it was the starter relay. It has a ceramic disc inside of it that breaks after a period of time. It was a $5 part and took me maybe 15 minutes to change out.

Ask your RA where to buy a new one.

Just happened to me last week. Same issue. I took of the starter relay and overload and checked continuity on the compressor probes and everything checked out. Shook the relay and something was shaking around so I ordered a new overload and new relay for about $14 total, replaced it and now it’s working fine. There’s a lot of info out there about checking to see if the compressor is still good. If the compressor is bad, you’re SOL. If the compressor is good, you can probably fix it for pretty cheap if you’re into that kind of stuff.

There are a bunch of youtube videos on the topic "mini fridge not cooling".
I have used them to fix my freezer and washer. Recently went to get a new dryer and the sales rep. wanted me to watch youtube to try to fix the old one! ??
