Here’s what gets me...in about 2 seconds, 98% of all matter we know of today was created....
AND
It’s not like the ‘big bang’ (actually a hyper rapid expansion) grew to fill a void. Rather it created the void as it grew.

Can you please point me to the evidence that proves pure evolution. Especially where it proves how intellet evolved. Actually, even a theory will do.

Sad to see NDT plagiarizing Bill Bryson.

Actually, no. If it always existed, then why didn't planets and stars develop infinity ago. Every effect has to have a cause.

And you don't? Turn it around, I bet there's something you worship. Even if you don't explicitly realize it.

Honestly..I usually side with size and trust the experts to know more than I...but the Big Bang Theory seems..far fetched. Obviously I don't know anything close to what these guys know but I've read enough to question it a bit in my own mind. Something can't be created from nothing. So what started the process of the Big Bang is my main question. Second..dark matter is kind of sketch as well. Been awhile since I've read anything so I'm not up to date and memory is vague on a lot of it though. Just never really bought into it as a sound theory.

micro evolution - no

You do realize there isn’t a scientific difference between the two?
It was used in isolated contexts in scientific settings to focus on time perspectives and was latched on by religious factions to shift the goal posts.
Evolution = change in allele (gene traits) frequency in a given population over time.
Period.
Also, the number of people in this thread who don’t know the difference between a scientific theory and hypothesis is too damned high.
I’m looking hardest at you Oweo

My theory is just as good as any.
Except for the fact that it violates multiple scientific laws.....sure.

then where did the first cause come from? rip

Good post, Volvagia. You give me hope for this forum.
To you folks who can't understand how so much matter can fit into a pin point, think of this. What makes up the majority of the interior of a rock? Empty space. You have to think in terms of the atomic level.

Geographic distribution.
Fossil record.
Molecular evidence, DNA.
Chew on those and get back to us.

these guys that think they know something like that in any amount of certainty confound me. right down to the trillionth of a period ?

Math confound you, too?
Scientists have built a mountain of facts over time. Each generation adding to the previous. When something doestn't add up they throw it out. We don't have all the answers, may never have all the answers. We aren't sure we are even asking the right questions.
We know evolution is fact, your flu shot is based on it. DNA is now a factor in most of cancer research. Ironically, evolution deniers are all to happy to enjoy the fruits of science.
Finally, "nothing" doesn't mean what it used to mean. There are sparks of energy that appear and disappear in a vacuum of "nothing."
