The use of the term Taser is widely misused. It was probably just a stun gun so no ID tags.

I read in another article that this cousin had contacted the doorman to be let into his apartment
The guy was scared and ran when he heard the buzzer
I assume he was in the process of disposing the body but then that changed

That's my impression as well. Not seeing anywhere mentioning video of the assailant leaving?
