re: Millionaire Next Door: Are you BAW's classified as PAW's, AAW's, or UAW's?

I really enjoyed that book years ago and think often about its examples, such as the high earning doc who lives large for a while but ends up with little, versus the school teacher who plugs away and becomes a millionaire.
I'm a PAW. Zero inheritance and started out after school with about $2,000 in checking.
The keys have been small student loan debt (Thanks, parents and scholarships!), spouse works, no kids, less house than most in our bracket go for, paid off mortgage aggressively (rates were higher then), buy reasonable vehicles and no more than every 10 years, and max out every retirement account we are eligible for.

Gen x and 100% higher than the expected net worth per that calculation.
W2 earner in the technical field. Paid off my house about 13/14 years ago. No inheritance. Did come out of college without student debt. Buy new cars more than I should but not that often, and so far haven't spent a lot on them.
So, PAW.

PAW in late 30s. 2-income household. Live in a much cheaper house than most in our income class but we don’t drive beaters. We’ve always been savers. Worry that our desire to stay close to home (and my hunting land fetish) may curtail future net worth growth to what it otherwise could be.
