Earlier this month, the administration made payroll by moving $6.5bn from military research.

With crack detective work like this, sure you can solve the shutdown in mere minutes

Never understood why that matters.

As I stated both sides shut down the govt in 2018
Ok boss, keep painting that pig.
It'll be a duck if you believe it enough.
Are facts a pig to you when you disagree with them?
Trump wanted $5 billion for border wall construction.
The Senate passed a bill without funding for border wall while the house later added border wall funding to a similar bill.
The Dems in the Senate filibustered that stop gag spending bill in December 2018 that added funding for border wall and was already passed by the House and supported by Trump. It also had enough votes to pass in the Senate, but again the Dems blocked a vote on it.
Shutdown starts
In January during the shutdown the Dems took over the House the Dems passed a new bill but without the funding for the border wall similar to bill passed by the old Congress’s Senate which was then stopped by McConnell in the Senate in the new Congress due to not having Trump’s support.
Basically - Trump wanted funding for the border wall to limit illegal crossings. The Dems blocked a vote in Senate on the bill passed by the House at the end of the 17-18 Congress that would have added border wall funding and been signed by Trump due to their support of illegals crossing our southern border, and then once in control of the House in January 2019 the Dems refused to pass a bill for several weeks that Trump would sign or that Republicans in the Senate would support.
That seems like both sides to me with border control being the key difference between the two.

The facts are that your team is the only thing standing in the way of getting our military paid.

You wouldn't know a fact if I slapped you across the face with one. I know, because that's already happened multiple times.
Stop hitting yourself

I'm done with you. You're not worth any more time. I know what you are. You're one of those little sniveling smartasses that think they're so clever until someone punches you in the mouth. That would do you a lot of good in my opinion.

quote:You're conflating Social Security Disability Insurance with VA Disability Compensation which is a mistake many civilians make, but those words mean different things. They both have disability in the name but they're separate programs with separate purposes One is a safety net, one is restitution for damages.
I know a few people getting disability benefits and they holding down full time employment in another field. How does that happen. They just getting an extra check.
If you get pulled over and the cops just up and beat the shite out of you for no reason, your insurance might cover your hospital bill but the city might be forced to pay you compensation. That compensation doesn't mean you can never work again.
That's why most VA compensation has no work or income requirements and the employed people you see drawing VA payments aren't committing fraud as is often claimed on this board.

No. Have you ever considered project 2025 was a troll to show people like you what a radical agenda looks like and how people like you will react to it? Of course not, you’re probably a self-described genius.
On the flip side, you and your party have been pushing radicalism for the past 10+ years and get upset when people disagree. You don’t have to like or agree with Trump or his policies, but it’s not some conspiracy that he’s attempting to reverse the problems that have been created. That’s the different between me and you.
Hope your slutty daughter doesn’t catch a bunch of loads tonight. You won’t be able to afford the abortion without your snap benefits.
Happy Halloween!

Let's examine this giant steaming pile of horse shite and show you exactly how idiotic this statement is.
quote:
As the United States navigates the complex political and social challenges of the 21st century, Project 2025 by the Heritage Foundation has emerged as an ambitious blueprint to overhaul the structure of the federal government. Framed as the conservative roadmap—especially for Donald Trump’s potential second term—the project, backed by a $22 million budget and more than 100 conservative organizations, promises a fundamental transformation of the American executive system. But behind its “Make America Great Again” rhetoric lie profound risks that could plunge the United States into severe political, social, and legal crises. Is Project 2025 a pathway to American renewal—or a formula for democratic collapse?
So you're telling me that they're spending 22 million a year to simply troll people?
I'm not sure if that makes them the bigger idiot or you. The lack of critical thinking is embarrassing
