Mike Tyson is a freak

Saw a clip of him boxing on twitter and it kind of sent me down a rabbit hole of watching his boxing highlights. The combination of speed, power, and the fact he’s a fricking maniac is just incredible. I think I’d rather be shot than give him a free punch (not that I could defend myself if I tried) to my jaw. Even today I think he could KO just about any of the current heavyweight boxers.

Saw a clip of him punching in a full shirt and tie while talking to a reporter and it was just incredible. Had no idea human hands were capable of moving like that.

That’s like saying TW is overrated bc he gained most of his Majors without consistent competition unlike Nicklaus who had Trevino, Player, etc.

So you’re saying the competion during TIgers run was strong year in and year out? I’m not doubting he is #1 or #2 all time.

Tiger made the competition look like shite because he was so good. He was just years ahead of the game, but he still faced as much if not more competition than Nicklaus did during his run.

I don't remember Tiger woods competition being that strong. Good golfers but not on Tiger Woods level. Now Jack had some tough opponents of his time.

He started fighting professionally when he was barely 18. You don't throw an 18-19 year old kid in the ring with a world champion caliber opponent right out of the gate. They managed his early career beautifully.
