It's not what we should do now, it's what we should have been doing six weeks ago. With mass testing and contact tracing, we wouldn't be in a panic situation. We'd know what we were up against and what we needed to do calmly. Countries that are supposedly less advanced than we are have been able to do it and have been able to keep the epidemic to a manageable level. That we dropped the ball can only be put down to negligence.

Meh, I think that ship sailed long ago and that there was very little a country like ours could have done. It is one thing for Singapore to pull it off. It is another thing entirely for a country like ours with international travel coming in at many places and essentially open borders.

I was trapping raccoons at home and was catching possums as well. One guy at work - Guati - took every possum I caught, strangled it to death in the trap, cut its head off and took it home in his ice chest.
He'd make a stew with possum, potato, onion & red pepper.
I've seen possums crawl out of a dead cow's arse. You eat a diet of those filthy fricking things, you could snort lines of corona virus and not even sneeze.
