They have principals for each school level and a head of school? Seems excessive for a small school.
Oh, no, no, no. For these private, independent schools to be well-regarded, they must have a principal/head-of-school for each level, then a Head-of-School/Head Master.

When I was working in that world, Country Day SEEMED to pride itself on being the most expensive tuition in the city. If the other independent schools raised tuition, then Country Day would raise theirs to remain above the others.

Not really. North of I-10 where BL lived, it’s a stretch to call Old Metairie and the neighborhood between Metairie Rd. and Airline is vastly different. Even just south of I-10 the neighborhood changes.

Most of you don’t give two shits about that baby or its mother once it’s born. So you’re not morally superior to anyone, you’re just another a-hole forcing your “morals” on other people.

I guess they still give more of a shite though than most of the pro-choice people who are ok with millions of fetuses being aborted and potentially experiencing the pain of that abortion.

SMH. Lower, middle and upper schools have different sets of challenges and the proven business/administrative model for these schools is to have head masters and heads of schools that others report to and in turn report to a Board. These are Businesses. Almost every school in New Orleans breaks down like that. I guess you probably think HS football teams have a Head, O, D, and position coaches because they want to be "well regarded", not because it's a necessity for success.

It SEEMS you are wrong. Best not to talk schitt about stuff you don't know. CD has never been the most expensive.

These are the 4 private schools in NOLA that are on par with each other. I could throw Trinity in the mix but it's only through 8th grade. All 4 of these schools are top notch when it comes to education. All of these schools regularly churn out a large percentage of National merit semi finalists and most have some form of scholarship/grant offer.

McGehee $23k 31% on financial aid
Country Day $23k 20% on financial aid
St Martin's $25k 50% on financial aid
Newman $27k 23% on financial aid

All give free tuition to teacher's kids, so over 1 in 4 students are not paying full tuitions.
