Beautiful, but it’s 10 degrees right now? Screw that.

My weather app says it's currently 8, but yea it's kinda nippy. Sun is shining bright tho so it's not too bad.

Snowed over night here.

Seattle kids woke to a white one too.

worked at Denali NP in Alaska as part of their search and rescue team providing medical service. Can you provide any info on this?

Don't work for NPS in Alaska.

It's known as the National Park Circus up here

Might have to move up there. Baton Rouge just isn't the same since they closed down men of fashion at cortana.

Great pic. Montana is unreal. In the summer, of course.

It is to some! I still have relatives in Kalispell and Great Falls. Spent many great summers there. My dad (from Great Falls) eventually moved us to Phoenix as kids! He hated the cold but would go back in the winter to hunt.

That said, if I were you, staying up there would be tempting.

Are you in a Hallmark movie?

Did you win the gingerbread house building/cookie bakeoff/ice sculpting/Christmas float contest?

Depends if you want to stay in the park, outside the park near or far. There are several park lodges you can stay at, all operated by Xanterra. You could also stay at Cedar Creek Lodge (also Xanterra) in Columbia Falls. There are a ton of mom/pop places and campgrounds around the park.

I commute from Whitefish. It's about a 40 minute drive to West Glacier. We have a lot of Lodge style places in town as well. Depends on your price range.

Thanks for the response. I’m pretty open to recommendations and will have rental car.
One of the outings the kids really are looking forward to is atv trail rides.

As far as accommodations I don’t mind paying for something nice as we may be staying for up to a week. Normally don’t mind rustic but prefer to not do for multiple days
