It's all good ... I just don't want to go back and them say "it's in your head" which is possible. I'm super aware of injury lately with good reason.

Thanks ... the best way to describe it may be "achy"

Not that unusual, they took a part of your body out that at best will scar down, not regenerate.... do you have any clicking, popping or giving way?

Both knees have always popped and still do to an extent. Neither gives way.

Being "not that unusual" makes me feel some better.

Had meniscus surgery and was told I could resume normal activities after 2 weeks including running. Doc said any pain would be associated with scar tissue. I've had some tweaks but no issues and it's been 5 yrs

I hoping for a knee scope in the next couple of weeks. Take a month off running and back at it in time to start training for NYC marathon. Keeping my fingers cross that I can still go run it.

swamprat seriously my doc told me at 11 days post op to go and do what I wanted ... just to not go all out at first. Surgery was on 10/3 I believe and ran a 5k the day before Thanksgiving without issue. I do realize a full is way more than a 5k but my point is that it didn't take long to get back out there. The other was on 12/17 and I ran a 10k a little more than 2 months later with the docs blessing.

Wife, mother of 3, part time job and my husband totally supports my running ... I can get nasty if I go too long without run. Laundry is always done and dinner usually home cooked ... all is well in this household.

Ryno I run with some guys that routinely work 40 plus hours a week and knock out 45-80 miles a week.
