Rape is an extremely sensitive subject.

When has over reacting to a relatively small issue ever helped? Keep in mind this is coming from a guy who would like to see legislation drafted to punish blatant false accusers. Of course I also realize that it is not that simple.

Should be a statute that if the state can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the accuser falsified her claim that they get automatic jail time.

This is what the almost future president said about due process in rape cases.

"Well, I would say that everyone should be believed at first until they are disbelieved based on evidence"

Men shouldn't form this group. It has to be led by women.

When does the singular female voice of reason ever supercede the majority female stance?

I really don't think it would have much support from women. Many women don't care about right and wrong. They think of it as a power play that they are able to use to fix what they percieve as an imbalance of power.

Imbalance of power?

You stupid?

Broads dictate when they give it up..they already have the power.

This is about regretful decision making and views from their peers.

Because if we did this, women would find this sexist. Can never win against them.

What bothers me the most is the false "innocent until proven guilty" narrative at play with this. All it takes is one crazy broad to accuse you and your life is permanently ruined the second it gets out. You likely can't even recover from it even it it's proven to be completely false. The stigma is real and no never goes away, plus internet would likely pull up arrest article anytime anyone googles you for eternity. It's such BS.

That being said, its a touchy subject because those who actually rape deserve every bit of this public lashing.

I would like to see those accused actually under house arrest or something and not formally arrested until convicted in court. It should never be made public when you are being accused of something until the proof is there

Women who accuse men are protected by rape shield laws. Men who are accused by women of rape should also be shielded until conviction to protect their good name.

Agree. I have always wondered what would happen if i found myself in that predicament. I don't get how a lot of falsely accused stay silent so long about it. I would be on every social media outlet, news outlet, etc professing innocence from day 1 I think.

You just said the accused should never be named, yet you would go out on your own to clear your name?

You have shite for brains?

Critical thinking is hard for a simpleton, I get that. Clearly, it can be inferred I would not like my name to be made public. However, if it were to get out, I'd go on the offensive.
