I probably have 12 to 15 pair of dress shoes with most being Magnanni and a few being Allen Edmonds.
I chose them because that seems to be the best shoe easily available around Baton Rouge to try on and buy.

Got a few Allen Edmonds for everyday work shoes. Got some zelli tux shoes, but wear them once or twice a year

My latest is a pair of black wholecut oxfords from Thomas Bird (made in Italy).

I like the look and feel of the Magnanni better but Allen Edmonds is a better shoe as far as durability.

I think their last looks to finish a little narrow for my personal tastes, but very nice looking shoe

I have several but my tastes are starting to diverge. I like what the Italians do with their leather heel better than most of what AE offers.

Yeah. AE certainly offers a show that you could wear for 20 years.
But, I like the styling of 3 or 4 other brands better.

Thanks. Some of their other models are more rounded. I have a pair of chelsea boots from them also that I really like.

There’s a reason I only have a couple of pairs of Edmonds and that’s because I like the style of the shoe you posted versus the Edmonds.
