If he was being treated wrongly, good for him. If he wasn't, he gonna get the chair.

At what point can you reasonably defend yourself from a police officer? Do you have to be fearful of bodily harm? Or do only officers benefit from those rights?

Odds are a good cop got killed, and that blows. The ratio never seems to improve.

He got out of the car shooting. After gravely wounding the officer, the fricking thug stood over him and shot him in the head several times.

There's no case here.

there will be a case eventually, though. in what situation can an innocent citizen protect themselves from the police?

take out the word officer and this is the same explanation given when the police kill someone.

I'm starting to think it would be healthier for us as a society to have a mandatory manslaughter sentence if you kill someone. The claim of self defense is too commonly accepted and there's not enough incentive for people to avoid escalating to the point of killing the person they are in conflict with.
