Actually just went through some old stuff at my parents yesterday and found my old book of football and baseball cards. Have a bunch of my Steve young cards still in pretty good condition

I loved the metal universe cards

I still have a box (clear plastic wrapper intact) with individual topps cards inside (bubble gum stick included). Good times.

Some off my best memories were sitting in the Kaybee toy stores in the malls and looking thru the clear packs looking for keepers. There were like barrels of cards. I would love to go back in time and experience that innocent fun again.

Got some of those too I believe those are mid to late 1990's.

Yep... STILL waiting for that Ken Griffey Jr. Upper Deck rookie card to appreciate.

That card got a .25 cent bump he is in the hall now. Lol

The internet obliterated the prices of once-valuable cards. "Rare" things are so much easier to find these days.

We still have a box of unopened Topps 1985 wax packs. Not sure of the value.

I've had the same retirement strategy since the 7th grade. I contribute nothing to my 401K and continue to invest in Gregg Jeffries '88 Donruss rookie cards.

The was the year of the Olympic baseball team I believe with Mcguire in it. I had 3 of those cards now ain't worth much due to hgh and steroid connection.

Gregg Jeffries
The sure thing
Did have a pretty swing though. You might want to rethink your retirement strategy though.

Lol that bagwell
Anyone else subscribe to Becketts magazine? Between that, Nintendo Power, and Highlights, my life couldn't have gotten any better when those came in the mail.
Lol. Getting old sucks.

It was good innocent times though no Internet to corrupt us. I mean getting those beckett price guides was awesome. Just to believe that you had something of value and loved doing it added to it. Great times.
