I know Memorial Day isn't until Monday, but I want to honor my buddies who made the ultimate sacrifice now. SGT Maggart and PFC Antonio, you will always be heroes to me. God bless you and your families. Current military, former military and friends of fallen heroes, if you don't mind please state who you are memoralizing this weekend so we can all partake.

Eta: I changed the title. Hope it helps.

There is nothing happy about it for me right now. I'm in O'Hare with a bunch of rude fratsters and non regular fliers.

ETA and people who don't give a frick about Memorial Day.

I appreciate the thread and want to remember all of those that gave their lives for this country. All of my buddies as well as myself came home safe,.. some shaken and one seriously injured but they all came home. I'm "happy" for that but this is a day to remember those that can't celebrate anymore.

1st Joe Helton, USAF
Capt Nathan Nylander, USAF
Capt Daniel Ambrozinski, Polish (but I worked with him everyday in Afghanistan before he was killed)
Capt Jamie Brunette, USAF
TSgt Caleb Bennett, USAF
SSgt Emily Clayburn, USAF

All taken way too soon, and they'll all be in my thoughts even more than they usually are.

I hear you, some of the pricks on here really took offense to someone starting a thread by almost the same name last year, turned into a stupid shite show when I think the OP was just trying to convey a message similar to yours.
