Think his name was Kirk Holder. Also remember having to put your money in on Wednesday if you wanted to hear your song saturday night at the old happy note. Fun place though

"Cup" Holder, as we used to call him.

Dude had a gig at a different BR spot every night of the week. Caterie, Calendar's, Gator Bar...you name it.

He pretty much vanished due to a nasty drug habit, from what I'm told.

Damn... I figured it must have been covered... I didn't remember any of the ride names, just remember going there when I was really little.

What's up with the Chimes Street area? Bayou, Library, a few shops. Now it's condo. Killing off a fun area around LSU.

Bayou burnt down a while back. For a while it was a Jamacian bar/grill. The Library, became Library Joe's, then Ichabod's and now its something else. Silver Moon was torn down. Yeah that area lost its charm.

I used to havge a hose across the street from Magnolia Mounds and now that area is all for sale. I think we will see Condo's instead of large houses on Nicholson. Heck they built those new "loft" condo's(Red Stick Lofts?) right next to my old house. But it used to be a lot with a trailer in it so its an improvement.

I did think the Aster street area should have been cleaned up and more student move in. I remember a lot of students used to live in that area, then the low rents brought in...

The North gates are all but dead, not even the Carlotta party is as good as it used to be.
Well Louie's is still there.
