ok some of you older guys should remember.
Redemptorist dances on Friday nights.
The Who, and Herman's Hermits performing at the Rock (RHS FB Field)
When they dammed up the open end of Memorial Stadium filled it with water and had the boat and ski show inside
Last but not least.
When the lakes on Stanford and city park lake froze and people were ice skating on em.

Baton Rouge sucks.
Baton Rouge would suck were it not for two things
1) Tiger Stadium
2) Spanish Town Parade

The Catholic High football team and the band ate at the piccadilly next to the school every game day before the game. Brings back great memories. We used to play 'band football' every game day, in between when school let out and when the band had to assemble for the real game. It was full contact tackle, of course, until my senior year when the administration decided to crack down on it. We played touch for a few games but then just gave up, theres no point to touch football, it sucks. The baseball coach was always bitching because we tore up his field, too (the baseball field was the band practice field).

I didn't think anyone would remember the Memorial Stadium shows, they would water ski in there. Also someone remembered Catholic High eating at Picadilly, we would eat at the one on Plank Rd. on gameday, we got a whole 3 bucks to eat on(Redemptorist 1983)

This place was the "Meat Market" in town for many years. I could never go in there because I would always see somebody's Wife in there prowling............

It was full of prowling married folk. I hated that place.
